Cream of Kentucky 11.5 Vs. Cream of Kentucky 13

Jim Rutledge is in the hot seat!
If anyone doesn’t know, CoK is what Jim is using to help fund his new distillery after he left Four Roses in 2015. The 11.5 has been rumored to be sourced from Barton 1792, but I can’t find any info on the 13 (is it the same?).
Since these are both still on shelves, both 101 proof, and both priced around $150, I thought it would be nice to know if it’s worth buying either!

11.5) The somewhat light nose has some ethanol, fruits including cherry cough syrup, vanilla, and oak. 
On the palate, there is more charred oak, along with vanilla, pecan, and has some stone-fruit along with rye-spice.
The finish is only medium in length, and has a bitter component, along with heavy oak, and a little nuttiness.
Overall, this is a decently enjoyable, fairly standard bourbon with a somewhat disappointing finish. Would be a good bottle at $65.

13) This nose immediately tells you that this is something deeper. Heavy old oak and caramel lead the way, but then orange peel, cinnamon, clove, and some apple with a hint of mint shows up. 
The palate is instantly coating and buttery-sweet, but then heavy oak shows up, followed by honey-cornbread, pecans, vanilla, and cinnamon-baked apple. 
The finish is decently long with vanilla sweetness that ends with oak and some spice. This is a very enjoyable bottle, but does lack the monster flavor of some other $100+ bottles I’ve had.

VERDICT) Clearly I think the 13 is the better pour. I would definitely not pay $150 for the 11.5 again, but I could consider picking up the 13 if I saw it for $150. The 13yo CoK offers more depth, body, complexity and flavor… and dare I say, “cream” ;)
